How Long Do I Have to Wait to Take Series 66 Again
Failed Series 66 for the 3rd Time
I simply failed the 66 for the tertiary time (lxx, 74, 73). Will be let go from EDJ very soon. I studied using STC and was scoring in the ninety'southward on all the exams. My firm would not permit me use other sources such every bit Pass Perfect.
What are my options?
If I wanted to accept the 66 once again I would have to expect 120 days.
I could take the 63 or 65 but do I need sponsorship?
Could I possibly be picked upward by other firms or will they laissez passer due to my 66 exam fails?
I practice like the industry and did not heed prospecting, learning the system or portfolio structure. I exceeded my prospecting goals and and was not afraid of rejection or the grind; besides fabricated some practiced contacts.
Where to go from here?

You do not need sponsorship to take the 65 and 63. You just fill out a U10. How would a firm know that you failed three times?

I do empathise your point about how would they know if I bought supplementary materials. When I took the exam the first time and failed they had commented that I did not telephone call the assistance line enough and did not complete the verbal exams per their schedule. Likewise, there were diagnostic exams weekly to check my progress. If I were to employ another vendor and not stay with their written report schedule I would accept incomplete or exams non attempted which would be flagged. It's very tightly overseen. I appears other firms give you the textile and web access and let you accept at it, just equally long as you pass.
As far as my exam records. I thought it was easy for them to discover out my attempts and scores for all FINRA exams. Unless you are proverb the scores are confidential. Also, I would take to explain why I was let go to prospective employers…

Bought Grooming Consultants for the 63 today after filing my U10 and forking over the fee.
How many study hours should I put into the 63 and 65? I'm job hunting, interviewing, and studying for the exams at the same time.
I programme on studying iv-6 hours a mean solar day (6 days) for 2 weeks for the 63 and 4-6 hours a day (6 days) for three weeks for the 65.
Overkill?
Grooming Consultants is great I passed the 66 with them. You lot have to put a lot of fourth dimension in on the 66 it is very difficult and the passing grade is 75 so less room for mistake. I constitute I barely had enough fourth dimension to terminate the test. I put in 200 hours for this test…You need to score in the loftier lxxx's on Training consultants practice exams to pass the exam. I have grooming materials if anyone is interested and 75 days left on subscription.

Just failed 66 69%, and I studied a lot… Very discouraged :(. English language is my second language by the manner; I should accept requested a fourth dimension extension on the the exam, so I could have more than comfortably complete the test. (I passed 7 for the starting time time). This one, the 66, is much harder. I used the STC program. I would like to get a 2nd stance, in other words get a unlike prospective on the study fabric and the testing other than STC's. People suggest that Kaplan or Grooming Consultants are ameliorate. Which one should I become?
STC for the 66 is inadequate. I But used Grooming Consultants for the 63 and hands passed. Next up is the 65 and I volition be using TC. Everyone on here raves about it for good reason; they give you the blank necessities and exam you on what yous need to know. STC tries to go you prepared for every single scenario, with swollen/strangely laid out reading material and you wind up focusing on the incorrect sections.
Took 66 twice failed . Using STC and pass perfect. The questions very different than what I noticed on exam . Pretty much leaving the industry. I want to get something started for a career. Taking exams over andover again missing by 1 bespeak. Not going to expect .
